ROLEPLAY
Keywords: ROLEPLAY, ROLEPLAYING, RP
Roleplay on Dragonball:Infinity is highly encouraged, while it is not a
requirement by any means, it does have many benefits for both your
character and the MUD as a whole. There are special prizes that can only
be obtained through RPP (Roleplaying Points) and roleplay creates an
environment that draws more players! There is also the added bonus of
the Global RPP gains mod, and your own personal RPP PL gains bonus, that
add bonus gains ontop of anything else!
Before you can begin roleplaying on the [CHAT] channel, your character
will need an 'authed biography', which is a short summary of your
character's past. See 'help biography' for more information.
The [CHAT] channel is the primary channel for roleplay, though
we encourage in game roleplay through emote/say as well. Special Note:
There is also a [RolePlay] channel that is open to anyone who wants
to try their hand at Roleplay. Although this channel will not reward RP
you in the same way or effect the RPverse in any way, you can have all
the fun you want here. The RolePlay channel is sometimes used for in RP
purposes when a large event occurs, such as an RP Admin run event that
is open to all and can hold significant rewards and be a large pivot in
the overarching plot of the verse.
Here are a few brief examples of these channels:
roleplay <message> [RolePlay] Rendo: 'So you've finally arrived I see..'
Special Note: If you do not begin your chat/roleplay post with a color
(see 'help rpcolors') the initial color will be white, always begin a
post with a color or with a '*' to avoid this unless you intend to begin
your chat/roleplay post with speech.
roleplay *<message> [RolePlay] Rendo shakes his head.
roleplay ooc <message> [RolePlay:OOC] Rendo: 'I played sweet today!'
roleplay ooc *<message> [RolePlay:OOC] Rendo jumps around excitedly!
Keep in mind that [CHAT] also follows the same rules as [RolePlay].

Remember, the most important thing you should know about RP is that it
is fun, and you should just relax and be yourself.

Typing 'hlist RP' will give you a general list of RP help files. Some
of these files are currently under construction.
Imported from the game’s own help, and only staff can change it — a help file that quietly stops matching the game reads as authoritative and is wrong. If it has changed in game, send the new text through the contact form and somebody will paste it in.
