Wise and mysterious, no one knows for certain how long the Namekian
race has existed in the stars, but across every planet in the universe
there are markings and etchings left by sages of ancient times from the
Namekian race. They were one of the first people to travel across the
stars, and they have survived countless mellenia despite multiple invasions
and cataclysmic events.

The world of Namek is a strange and surreal planet hidden away in the far
reaches of space. Until recently, few civilized species had ever ventured
to their emerald world, but Namek has had a long history of inviting
universal dangers, and has served as a tried and true battleground for many
galactic events.

The Namekian people as a whole are peaceful and meditative, but their
natural intellect and unique abilities has given birth to some of the most
dangerous, feared, and unbelievable characters in history. Namekian
warriors are highly regarded for their strength and mystical powers. The
Saiyans themselves have long seen the Namekian people as strong rivals for
their war like ambitions, and sometimes send regiments of their elites to
Namek so that they may face a true test of their abilities.

Perhaps the most mysterious facets of the Namekian world are the vast
libraries dedicated to the Eternal Dragons. The Namekians are deeply
connected to the Dragons and the lore of the Dragonballs. Few races, even
the Kaioshin, have gathered as much knowledge about the power of these
mystical spheres. One of the few races to openly declare the power of the
Dragons, some in the universe see the Namekians as superstitious and
shamanistic. But multiple events in history have proved their beliefs to
have a strong thread of truth.

If the Dragons and the Dragonballs do exist, the Namekians are perhaps one
of the few races who understand their true nature, but to learn that
information one must undergo a trial of tests that only a handful in
recorded history have ever survived.

Capable of impressive displays of regeneration, powerful psychic abilities,
and shapeshifting forms to rival even the colossal size of the Saiyan
Oozaru, the Namekian people are not to be trifled with. No one has ever
conquered Namek, and those who have tried have been served a bitter defeat.
