PEACEKEEPERS OF THE UNIVERSE
The Kaioshin are perhaps the most mysterious of all the galactic races,
and little true knowledge is known about their great history except for
those who are among their most sacred, and secret orders.
When the Eternal Dragons went to slumber long ago, it is believed that each
world that their mystical spheres touched was given the rare gift of true
life. Of all the races born from this boon, the Kaioshin were bestowed the
most power and the most knowledge. Using the ambient powers of the
Dragons, the Kaioshin became the first mystics and sages in the universes
and had powers of such magnitude that they shaped the very order of the
heavens.
It was the Kaioshin who bridged the living world and the Afterlife,
creating a system by which they could protect and serve the souls of their
ancestors. As time went on and more races began to emerge across the
galaxy, their power dwindled, but their creations and deeds remained long
after this power vanished. Though they do not strictly govern the
Afterlife as they did in those most ancient eras, they are directly
responsible for the Guardians who now watch over the universe.
The Kaios themselves returned to the homeworld of Kaiosei long ago, and
have lived mostly peaceful lives amongst the other races of the galaxy, but
there have been times of unbelievable war where Warrior Monks of the
Kaioshin race scattered across the stars to battle the evils that emerged
in those early times and returned from it marked and scarred by their
experiences.
In more recent times, the planet of Kaiosei is little more than a quiet gem
in the galaxy where the Kaios have settled peacefully and choose to remain
distant from the larger wars that burn across the stars... But in this era
of new ascended beings, there are few who can ignore the events happening
in the larger universe and so the Warrior Monks of Kaiosei have begun to
flourish once again.
