PRODIGIES OF THE UNIVERSE
A slang term coined at the end of the last great Saiyan crusade, the
term 'Halfbreed' is in truth an insult to the child sired between the
proud warrior race and their intuitive counterparts hailing from the
planet Earth.
The Halbreeds are an alienated race caught between two distinct ways
of life. Never truly able to realize the full potential of their Saiyan
heritage and widely unaccepted by their adopted heritage on Earth, the
life of a Halfbreed is one of struggle. Merging these two histories has
been difficult, and while the population of Halfbreeds continues to grow,
the two societies seem unwilling to reconcile that they share more
similarities than differences.
In spite of this short coming, the Halfbreeds are blessed with what can
only be described as a genetic philosopher's stone, something that
scientists in the present day have no true explanation for. Halfbreeds
almost always exhibit unbelievable potential in whatever path they
eventually set themselves on. Whether it is martial prowess, scientific
pursuits, or artistic endeavors, it's hard to deny that Halfbreeds are
quick to master anything that they make their ambition to master. By
some genetic marvel, the combination of Saiyan and Human DNA is quickly
beginning to create a race of savants and prodigies that will undoubtedly
change the course of history in years to come.
