Instead, the Mecha-beings known throughout the universe simply as Androids were created long ago by the three Sparks of Divinity: Uluuru, the Spark of Imagination. Dexic, the Spark of Knowledge. And Korolin, the Spark of Willpower. Together, the three Sparks of Divinity piled asteroid upon asteroid, crushing billions of megatons of metal into a cluster. With their power combined, they created the core of what would eventually become a machine world, and set about using their vast energies to bring this new planet to life. From the molten heart of Insignia V the Sparks birthed great foundries and forges that immediately set to work creating a synthesized race of sentient machines. Each Android born from Insignia has but a fragment of the Life Code bestowed by these Sparks, but it is that Code which gives them free will and individuality, as well as the gift to integrate their power cores with the transcendent energy of the Eternal Dragons and become Ascended warriors of the Age. Insignia V has a long and rich history that rivals even the most ancient of beings in the universe, but it is the events that have unfolding in the last decade that have shaped it most significantly. Caught in a brutal civil war, the Android race was brought to the edge of extinction, and during the crossfire their homeworld of Insignia VI was laid to ruin. Once a technological Xanadu, Insignia V was left as nothing more than a husk of its former glory. Such was their fate until recent years.
