*==============================-[Khonsu]-===============================*

Khonsu's quadrant of the universe had become an easy one to deal with.
Most of the planets within the quadrant were composed of rather well
behaved races that liked to be more involved in pursuits of the mind
and betterment, than in war and quarrels. This peace has had the
unintended consequence of very few souls coming by Yemma's desk and
needing the intervention of the East Kai. Most souls upon reaching
the afterlife in this quadrant were content and ready to move on into
"retirement". With this relative ease of his job, Khonsu spent most
of his days napping.

Khonsu has been watching over the Eastern Quadrant for a long time,
picking up a multitude of names along the way, Moon God, Khensu,
Chons. Once known as the "traveler", his influence across the
quadrant may have been more profound in the past. Rumored to be
instrumental in the beginning prosperity of this quadrant, some
scholars now wonder if he felt his influence caused past catastrophes
such as the shattering of Kanassa and caused him to switch to a more
hands off approach. This old tale of the shattering of Kanassa is
supported by the story of Khonsu's brother, Thoth, who controls the
passage of time. Others still believe that this is all just scripture
and no real such Kai or "God" even exists.

If one did somehow lay eyes on Khonsu they would see a race of
creature not often glimpsed in even the furthest reaches of the
galaxy. Khonsu appeared jackal like, with a lithe figure, yet somewhat
muscular. The jackal-like race was an ancient one that has since
vanished from the universe, and by only some magical or transcendent
power still exist anywhere.
