UPGRADESHIP Keywords: UPGRADESHIP Syntax: 'upgradeship <your ship name> <option>' You can upgrade multiple things, form adding new transporters to increasing the speed. The following lists will show each command and what it does. The cost to upgrade the ship is 10,000 zeni per level of upgrade, it costs 1,500,000 zeni to add a transporter. Note: For basic ship use -- that is, for transport purposes -- you will only need to upgrade a transporter. Energy: This is basically the fuel for your ship, upgrading it will allow you to travel in space for longer time periods without needing to land. Hull: This is your ships integrity; basically how much damage the ship can take, aside from it's shields. Upgrading this is helpful if you decide to join a space battle. Lasers: This increases the number of lasers on your ship, and how many can be fired at once; it increases your ships basic offensive capabilities. Speed: The speed of your ship while in normal space, this can increase the speed at which you can approach planets without having to wait. It also makes you faster to escape if you need to leave a space battle. Hyperspeed: This is your speed in hyperspace, basically how fast you get from one galaxy to another. Shields: This is the extra defense of your ship, and is extremely vital in space battles. The higher the level the more shield strength you have. There are a few commands for shields: the basic Shield, and Recharge, which begin to recharge your shields as long as they are not taking damage. Manueverability: This is the ability to change direction, the higher the level the quicker your direction is changed, it saves time while traveling and is absolutly vital in dodging missles and lasers in space battles. Chaff: Chaff is used to deter missiles and rockets; it's basically throwing a heat signature into space that gets the attention of the incoming doom. Missiles: Sleek and smooth, long, hard death. Upgrading these gives you more missiles to play with without having to restock at a spaceport. Rockets: Similar to missiles, rockets are another form of heat seeking death, though they are more powerful they are also more limited. Upgrading these increases thier numbers, not thier power. Torpedos: Torpedos are another form of death, though they are even fewer, they are immune to the use of Chaff, they are a bit easier to dodge manually though. Upgrading, again, only increases number not power. Transporter: This adds a transport module to your ship. This module will enable you to transport yourself to your ship. This is the most expensive upgrade and can only be added once. You can not use the transporter while in a fight, and you will need a scouter to use it. The syntax is 'scouter transport <shipname>'.
