Below are various rules regarding client functions and their
legality on DBI:
Triggers: Any trigger that inputs a command to the MUD is illegal.
Other triggers, such as triggers that capture text to other windows
or play sounds are legal.
Aliases/Macros: Any alias or macro that enters a SINGLE command to
the MUD is legal. This includes speedwalks. The only multi-line
macros that are legal are those for wearing, removing, or bagging
equipment. Multi-line macros/aliases include, but are not limited to
entering multiple commands at once via cut and paste.
To clarify, you CANNOT copy and paste a long segment of multiple
commands, such as k fi;kick;kick;kick;kick;kick;kick, HOWEVER, if
you have typed this command out yourself manually and then entered
it this is allowed under command stacking. Hitting enter multiple
times on a previously typed stack using auto-repeat will be viewed
as a multi-line macro.
Command Stacking: This is legal, so long as you're not breaking any
other rule (in other words, NO MULTI-LINE MACROS)
Timers: Much like triggers, all timers that input commands to the
MUD are illegal.
Speedwalking: Speedwalking is allowed and supported by the MUD.
