RULES Keywords : RULES, LAWS, LAW The following are general rules that you will be expected to follow when playing here. Should you break any of these rules, punishments will be dealt. First and foremost, use common sense. If you're not sure whether or not something is illegal, but it doesn't seem like it would be legal, chances are that it is, in fact, not legal. Negative attitudes are not welcome here. If you feel the absolute need to insult everyone who says something you don't like, go somewhere else. We will not put up with it. 0) VIBE CHECK - If your general demeanor, attitude, word choice, etc drastically affect the experience of others, you will be forcibly removed. Be cool, be kind, be chill or find somewhere else to be. 1) Racism/Discrimination is not allowed. See: 'help racism' and 'help discrimination' 2) Do not bot. Do not announce when you see an immortal checking for botters. See: 'help botting', 'help trigger', 'help alias', and 'help timers' 3) Follow the channel rules. See: 'help channelrules' 4) Do not multiplay. See: 'help multiplaying' 5) Do not harass or bash other players or immortals. See: 'help bashing' and 'help harassment' 6) Do not scam other players. See: 'help scamming' 7) Roleplaying is HIGHLY encouraged. See: 'help rp' 8) You will give the administration your full and utmost respect. See: 'help respect' 9) Do not ruin quests for other players, or the immortals. See: 'help quests' 10) Do not evade punishments. See: 'help evasion' 11) Do not scam, See: 'Help SCAMMING' 12) Sharing characters is illegal. See: 'help sharing' 13) Do not send tells to administrators, or contact them over ADMIN, unless it's important. See: 'help admincontact' 14) Muling is allowed. However, if you lose items because of it, you're out of luck. See: 'help muling' 15) Don't commit Alt Revenge. See: 'help altrevenge' 16) Be nice to newbies. 17) Do not be a jerk. 18) Do not post links on any channel but FoS, period. See: 'help links' 19) Do not interact with any of your alternate characters, aside from EQ transferring. See: 'help altinteraction' 20) Don't illegally PK anyone. See: 'help illegalpk' 21) Be aware of the expectations on privacy. See :'help privacy' 22) Be aware of the expectations on balance. See :'help balance' 23) Selling eq for real life money is highly illegal and all parties involved will be permanently deleted. 24) Feeding PK's to someone else is illegal, especially for Bio-Androids. This includes paying someone for easy kills. See 'help feeding' 26) Afer 9pm or so MUD time (type time) OOC becomes ADULT SWIM territory. We may talk about offensive or raunchy topics. This is okay! The above rules are not an exhaustive list; we simply cannot cover every situation imaginable. However the application, as well as the interpretation, of the rules are at the discretion of the administration. They will be applied consistently, and utilise our common sense; if we don't like something you're doing, we reserve every right to deal with you as we see fit. If you have a problem with how an immortal interprets the rules, feel free to write a gnote to Rendo, rather than arguing with the immortal who punishes you. The penalties for breaking these rules can be found in the helpfiles listed above. A summary of the punishments can seen in 'help punishment'. NOTE: Insinuating Racism or Sexism is still the same as saying it. If you are asked to stop using a certain word, please just do, don't be a namek about it! Racism is not allowed. Period. It will be punished, and it is very offensive to some sensibilities. Do not do it.
