GAINTIERS Keywords: GTIER, GTIERS, "GAIN TIERS" Gains are based on your current powerlevel, however you will receive a reduction for using a powerlevel modifier - your various transformations. As your powerlevel mod gets higher, your gains increase but the penalty gets steeper. This approach differs as you go about gaining from mobs; You may find different powerlevel gains occuring. Aside from the obvious reasons for this - GMM, racial differences, PK flags - the difference cause be caused by a move up, or down, a gaining tier. In simple terms, your powerlevel in relation to that of the mob may be too high or too low. These gaining tiers are as follows: Excellent : < or = to mob PL Regular : >1x and <1.25x mob PL Mediocre : >1.25x and <1.5x mob PL Fair : >1.5x and <1.75x mob PL Acceptable : >1.75x and <2x mob PL Half-rate : >2x and <2.25 mob PL Worsening : >2.25x and <5x mob PL Nothing : >5x mob PL For reference, '<' means less than, and '>' means greater than. Keep these tiers in mind when you're levelling to get the most out of your gaining experience. Please be careful when attempting these tiers - we hold no responsibility for any loss of life that may occur. While a similar mechanic to the above holds true for spars, excellent gains will occur within 1.5x a players PL, and within 1.25x PL for split-sparring. SEE ALSO: GAINS, GGM, NEWBIETIPS
