FOS

Imported from the game’s own help, and only staff can change it — a help file that quietly stops matching the game reads as authoritative and is wrong. If it has changed in game, send the new text through the contact form and somebody will paste it in.

==========================================================================
FOS is no longer a place where anything can be said and no punishment is
harbored. Freedom of Speech on DBI means that you can use ideas that are
not allowed on other channels, but only to a certain extent.

1) Spamming is not allowed.
2) Racism is not allowed.
3) Advertising of other MUDs is not allowed.
4) Bashing of admins is not allowed.

Being that this is a special channel, the rules for this channel are
special as well.

Keep in mind these are the maximum punishments.
Punishments:
-spamming: Maximum of a 24 hour silence.
-racism/discrimination: Depends on the ruling of the punishing admin
-advertising: MANDATORY 24 hour silence, 2 week helling
-admin disrespect: discretion of the admin being disrespected

Punishment evasion rules apply to the FOS punishments, three fold.

Rules not listed here can still be enforced by an immortal if s/he feels the
violation to be extreme enough.

If you find it too hard to follow these rules, even though this channel
is much less moderated than any other channel, you WILL reap the
consequences.

This channel is ONLY for players who are at least 18 years old. If you are
not at least 18, you will be told once to turn the channel off. If you fail
to do so, we cannot and will not be held responsible for things said and/or
done on FOS.

If there is someone you don't want to listen to on this channel, but you
still wish to keep the channel on read 'HELP IGNORE' to learn how to
ignore someone.
