Almost all martial artists believe in some sort of inner strength,
or energy, that they channel to perform their wonderous feats. It is
sometimes also referred to as ki or chi. In the normal world, this
is sometimes showed to increase a fighters strength and speed. In
the worlds of anime, including the Dragon Ball universe, ki has gone
far beyond that. Now it is considered common fact that the people in
those universes can turn their inner strength into energy attacks,
inhuman speed, or the ability to defy gravity. On Dragonball:
Infinity, ki is energy, which is what fuels most attacks and
transformations into different forms. It is also what powers skills
and abilities like Power Up, or Fly.
