'ENHANCED COMPASS'
Another function of a scouter is the ability to use its readout as a
sort of computerized map of the area. This will show you a visual
readout of what directions have exits, as well as any doors you
might be able to see. Locked doors will show up as '#' signs on the
map, while closed doors show as '*'. Aggressive mobs will show up as
'@' signs on the map - be careful! Players show as '@', while
non-aggressive mobs show as '@' - be sure to note the difference
between the three!
Obvious exits:
North East South West Up Down Southeast Southwest.

Your enhanced compass will be automatically set in the starting
area. You can configure it using the config command, see
'help config' for more information.
This feature can be tweaked for mobile users, see 'help mobile' for
more information.

We now also offer a SUPERMAP - config +supermap to use it.
The SUPERMAP requires use of UTF-8 characters in some places - any
modern mud client should have this option in their settings.
