With the advent of allowing multiplay in approved cases, it became
clear that people with this privilege had another advantage that
needed limitations applied. Therefore, if you have the option of
multiplaying (i.e. you and your roommate are allowed to play at the
same time, or you are an immortal and are allowed to have your imm
and mort on at the same time), you cannot have any interaction
between your alternate characters other than equipment transfer.
To be clear, any interaction that entails you taking advantage of
multiplaying for the benefit of one person's characters is illegal.
This includes, but is not limited to: sparring, getting someone else
to log on one of your alts in order to pk it.
For approved cases of multiplaying, the Administration will keep
track of characters. We will know when our compassion is being
abused. You will be caught. You will be punished.
Punishment for Alt-interaction: Depending on severity of the
offense, the punishment can range from a small hell for both
characters involved to character destruction and banning.
NOTE:
Person A and Person B are on DBI. Person A decides to create a
character called AAA. Person A decides to give AAA to Person B.
Person A -cannot- spar or gain off of AAA with his new character aaa
for 3 weeks. Person B must also log AAA for 24 hours before the
gaining may begin. When the character is sold/given an immortal must
be present to verify the number of hours logged and write an admin
note about it.
In the next situation, Person A gives Person B, AAA and Person B
decides that THEY want to spam Person A's other character who is
stronger (BBB). They must also wait 3 weeks, but there is no logging
hours involved. An immortal should still be present.
You can only sell/give your character away once every two months. No
ifs ands or buts about it.
It is up to the discretion of the Administration to determine the
application of this rule. Your Administration will make a judgement
call on your compliance with this rule, and you can then get back to
playing the game.
