This guide details the complete walkthrough for the Yemma's Vault quest line in HFIL.

Prerequisites & Requirements

• Location: HFIL
• Recommended Power Level (PL): Suppression is required during mob fights. Keep PL between 4 Billion and 12 Billion maximum depending on section of quest.
• Mob Danger: Mobs are aggressive throughout the vault. If your PL is too high, you will be auto-slain.

• kill thieves until you get the Guard Quarters Key

• head to north west corner of first section

• Talk to the Quarter Master and accept his mission and get teleported

  • say yes

  • Kill him and get Key to the Head of the Guard's Room 1
  • Return: speedwalk edeeenneesss

• Kelldosin: speedwalk nwswde

  • Kill him and get Key to the Head of the Guard's Room 2
  • Return: speedwalk wuenes

• Twillstin: speedwalk sswwwsddn

  • say yes
  • Answer his Riddle, get Key to the Head of the Guard's Room 3
  • Return: speedwalk suuneeenn

• Say transport to get sent back to the Quarter Master.

• Walk to the other hall and to the head of the guards room: speedwalk etteeeenqqqneeeeeennnnnn

• say yes

• say ready and get the Key to the Dungeon Vault

• Return to the door: speedwalk sssssswwwwwwsyyyswwnndn

• There are 3 hallways here with a Miniboss at the end of each.

• Savage Demon of Toughness

  • Walk: speedwalk ennnn
  • Drops: A Savage Toughness Orb
  • Return: speedwalk ssssw

• Savage Demon of Speed

  • Walk: speedwalk nnnn
  • Drops: A Savage Speed Orb
  • Return: speedwalk ssss

• Savage Demon of Power

  • Walk: speedwalk wnnnn
  • Drops: A Savage Power Orb
  • Return: speedwalk sssse

Once you get all 3 items you can go down at the intersection before the hallways. This will put you immediately into combat!

• Savage Demon King
• Drops: King Yemma's Soul Box

Return to the head guard:

• Speedwalk: speedwalk ususseenqqqneeeeeeennnn

You will then be dropped into the vault to pick your reward.

• In the path leading to the vault is a secret room to the west, you can find it by carefully reading room descriptions. This leads to an alternate reward path for the quest, giving you zeni. [1.75m]
  • this quest is a repeatable source of zeni if you are patient. This alternate path also leads you to a shop which sells some expensive [1.5m each], but powerful gear.
