The first pursuit added to DBI is teaching. This allows you to teach
skill exp for a skill that is already at 100%. Teaching is interrupted by
things that would similarly interrupt meditate.
Once you begin to teach, a player can use the learn command to listen to
your class.
A skill can be taught up to about 1/3rd of your current level.
As your teaching level improves you GRANT more exp in your classes. Humans
have a slight bonus to this as well.
Every 33 levels you can add another student. Humans have +2 students from
the start.
Humans, uniquely, can create a gi item based on their teaching level, as
well as having access to teaching 'fundamentals'. This does not teach a
skill but instead gives an exp buff to others. After they leave your class
they will have an exp skill buff proportional to the amount of time spent
in class.
You will continue to learn and gain some exp every so often, but the
messages will occur less because it would quickly become spammy. You can
use 'score' to see if you are still teaching or learning.
The exp will multiply with more people in the class.
Using the "effect" command you can see students and such when teaching.
