What is it?
This is an event that lasts longer than one evening, usually a week or
two to get things started. An RP Super-Event is more often than not a
collaberation between the RP Admins and other Admins on staff, and is run
somewhat differently than a regular RP.
How is it any different from a regular event?
Instead of having to be online for the major plotline moments, players
can RP at their leisure and then post them in the Super-Event thread on the
forums. This thread will already be created, simply add a post after a
long day of RPing. Each evening an admin will go over the days posts and
then update the general public on the RP board so that other players that
want to participate, may do so without having to read every single RP post
to get started.
Where does the story actually come in?
Throughout the week Admins will hold RPs relating to the story. It is
not necessary to participate in these events in order to participate on a
whole. Although not all will participate in these Super-Events, it could
very well affect the entire RP Universe. Planets could be destroyed,
natural disasters...anything.
Where do I post comments or questions?
If you need to discuss the story or have questions, feel free to ask on
DBI. There is to be no comments within the thread itself, all comments
will need to be placed in another thread on the RP Dicussion Board. This
thread will also already be created for the players to access.
How do I post my related RP?
Head the the forums and go under Roleplay Logs. There will be a
thread there called 'Super-Event' followed by the title of the event.
Every player who has an RP that is strongly related to the outcome fo the
event will be posted in the same thread, like a very long RP or very long
story. At the top of the post, the names of all players looking to be
awarded RPP should be listed clearly so the Admins know what names to watch
out for in the post.
What happens at the end of the event?
At the end of the week, or whatever time period has been chosen, there
will be one final event to decide the fate of all involved.
Is RPP awarded?
Why of course it is! Players that participate will recieve RPP in the
same way they would for any RP. In some circumstances players may be
rewarded with extra RPP for taking part in a Super-Event.
Are there any special rules?
All the standard RP rules apply.
Who can participate?
Anyone can participate, all players old and new are welcome to join in
the fun!
