   This is an in combat skill that can start fights.

  Sonic Burst is a small derivative of Octave Blast. Instead of
  launching the ball of ki at one's adversary, the Konatsu wraps the
  energy around its fist, and then uses said fist to pummel its
  opponent, releasing the ki ball at the point of impact.
