A signature attack, or sigattack, is a customized attack bought with RPP.
Though the process to set up a sigattack is somewhat long and complicated,
the end result is a customized attack that can be upgraded into a powerful
weapon for killing your enemies.
Before you can use or upgrade your sigattack, it must first be created. It
must then be authorized to prevent inappropriate content from appearing in
battle. The creation and authorization process for sigattacks is as follows:
1: Create your signature attack using the createsigatk command. This command
has the following options:
name -- This sets the name of your attack.
sigattackchar -- Displayed to you upon successful attack.*
sigattackvict -- Displayed to opponent upon successful attack.*
sigattackroom -- Displayed to bystanders upon successful attack.*
sigmisschar -- Displayed to you upon miss.
sigmissvict -- Displayed to opponent upon miss.
sigmissroom -- Displayed to bystanders upon miss.
sigikchar -- Displayed to you upon successful instakill.*
sigikvict -- Displayed to opponent upon successful instakill.*
sigikroom -- Displayed to bystanders upon successful instakill.*
sigikmisschar -- Displayed to you upon unsuccessful instakill.
sigikmissvict -- Displayed to opponent upon unsuccessful instakill.
sigikmissroom -- Displayed to bystanders upon unsuccessful instakill.
The following variables are used in making sigattacks:
$n -- Your name $N -- Your opponent's name
$e -- He/She/It (You) $E -- He/She/It (Opponent)
$m -- Him/Her/It (You) &M -- Him/Her/It (Opponent)
$s -- His/Hers/Its (You) $S -- His/Her/Its (Opponent)
$t -- Damage done before armor and sanctuary
Once you have saved an attack description (by using /s within the buffer),
you must then type createsigatk <option> again to fully save it. This is
of utmost importance to the authorization process.
Please note that EVERY one of the above must be filled in, even if you do not
plan on upgrading your attack with an instakill. Also note that descriptions
marked with an asterisk (*) MUST have the $t variable somewhere in them.
2: Request authorization with the reqattackauth command. An immortal will then
look over your attack and authorize it or deny it. This may take a while, and
the immortal staff is often busy, so do not ask an immortal to look over your
sigattack. A sigattack costs 20 RPP to authorize, and you will be automatically
denied if you do not have 20 RPP to spend.
3: Once your attack has been authorized, you may upgrade it using setattack.
Setattack has three functions. To see a list of the upgrades, type setattack
by itself. To read a brief description of what each upgrade does, along with
its RPP cost, type setattack <upgrade>. Finally, to spend the RPP and upgrade
your attack, type setattack <upgrade> yes. The upgrades are as follows:
mindamage -- Increases minimum damage by 5 to a maximum of 60. (3 RPP cost)
maxdamage -- Increases maximum damage by 5 to a maximum of 70. (3 RPP cost)
energy -- Decreases energy cost by 1500 to a minimum of 10000. (1 RPP cost)
focus -- Decreases focus cost by 2 to a minimum of 20. (5 RPP cost)
instakill -- Adds a 3% chance to instakill within 3x range. (20 RPP cost)
Please note that a newly created sigattack does 0-0 damage, costs 25000 energy
and 50 focus and has no instakill chance.
