LOOK EXAMINE
Keywords: LOOK, EXAMINE
Syntax : look <object>/<character>/<direction>/<keyword>
Syntax : look in <container>/<corpse>
Syntax : examine <container>/<corpse>
The look command is a very useful command to master in DB:I.
Firstly, the command by itself allows you to look at the room you're
in. Add an item's name on the end, look <item>, and you see an
objects description. Add in a character or an NPCs name after look,
look <name>, and you see that characters description and any
equipment they may be wearing. You can also look in a particular
direction, and see an exit description, look <direction>. Some rooms
may have extra descriptions in them, which can be seen by looking at
a particular keyword. This is particularly true in quest areas, like
the beginning area - look staircase!
You can also use the look command to look inside containers, by look
in <container/corpse>.
The examine command combines the look and 'look in' commands,
whereby you will see the description and any object contained in
that container/corpse, examine <container>.
