Demons could almost be called the anti-Humans of the universe.
While Humans originate from Earth, Demons were born of an alternate
dimension that occupies the same space. It is known as "Shadow
Earth", and is quite literally the opposite of Earth in every way.
While Earth enjoys a pleasant environment, peaceful people, and a
clear blue sky, the Shadow Earth knows none of these things. The
landscape is a constantly shifting wasteland, ravaged by constant
natural disaster and warring Demons. The sky is stained blood-red,
and even the "sun" is a blackened mockery of the one on Earth.
While it is normally impossible, some Demons occasionally find their
way through into our dimension, whether by means of a
dimensional-portal or by a powerful summoner. Demons are quite
vicious, but that isn't to say they're mindless creatures. Their
intelligence easily rivals the other races of the universe, as does
the extent of their frightening powers.
Demons are beings of the dark, and as thus, get increased damage
during the night. They are also able to unleash their dark, often
restrained powers to boost their powerlevels. They are also able to
create weapons from their own Ki.
