ARMOR
Keywords : ARMOR, ARMOUR
Just like in the show, and on most MUDs, you can buy or find armor
on DBI. Based on a system with a max armor rating of eight thousand,
armor will absorb damage for you during fights. As it does so, it
will take damage and need repairs. Armor is an important part of
combat on DBI - it affects the melee damage that you take, as well
as the damage from Ki-attacks.
New players should concentrate on having at least an armor rating of
eight thousand before they begin to work on upgrading to equipment
with better stats. They should also work on filling each wear
location with a full stack of equipment before worrying too much
about upgrading. Note: Stack means a full set of layered EQ.
To understand how equipment works on DB:I, see 'help equipment'. To
understand how equipment layering works, see 'help layers'. To learn
how to wear equipment, see 'help wear'.
